What to expect

FCA’s intention is to provide all information and services as stated below in due time. If you would have specific information requests, not yet available on the website, you can contact FCA directly through our contact form.

Overview of cleantech activity in Flanders – Profiles of Flemish cleantech companies accessible through search engine; International footprint of projects in cleantech by Flemish companies; Local Flemish cleantech hubs; Available funding (governmental & private); Flemish cleantech organizations/actors; cleantech market indicators Flanders.

Company promotion and information channel – For companies active in Flanders, the FCA channel can be used as an additional channel to promote services and/or to search for potential partners.

International information, opportunities and promotion for Flemish companies – Flanders Investment and Trade will direct international opportunities and information related to cleantech through the FCA channel as well as deliver support for companies on international trading and partner search. FCA will support FIT in international promotion of the Flemish cleantech sector. FCA also partners up with other organizations and international companies to maximally leverage already established international partnerships and share experiences.

Technology information – FCA, being embedded in the Flemish Institute of Technological Research, has naturally access to the latest trends in cleantech technology. It is therefore also our aim to provide background information on a number of technologies as well as provide the opportunity for companies to reach out on information about technology testing, feasibility, demonstrations, research, partner search, projects,..

Case studies on technology implementation & cleantech consortia – most companies are not directly active in cleantech through their products and services, but more indirect through daily operations and process management. In order to stimulate companies of all sectors in adopting cleantech solutions, we present frontrunner examples, case studies of projects where cleantech solutions brought economical added value or solved a crucial problem for one or a cluster of companies. A number of these cases originated from VITO’s PRODEM initiative. In addition we present case studies from cleantech consortia projects on cradle- to-cradle and smart energy R&D as well as feasibility studies, taking part in for instance (not exclusively) the MIP initiative (3.7mEUR fund).

Events & networking – FCA will organize or support events related to cleantech, whereby the outgoing principle will be to where relevant associate with other actors around topics to bring.

Open Communication platform – FCA has initiated a LinkedIn Group, where members can post discussion topics, events information, opportunities,etc.
