 Cleantech clusters

The purpose of this map is to visualize the cleantech clusters in Flanders and in a next phase equally all cleantech installations in Flanders. If your initiative should feature on this map, please contact us

Cleantech clusters

A cluster is an initiative bringing together several partners in respectively research, education and industry into one location to create a critical mass with regards to a focussed cleantech domain. Ideally it would have the intention to become the main focal point in Flanders for all knowledge and industry related to the topic and have international reach.

Strategic Research centers

Strategic research centers are funded by the Flemish government. The intention of the Flemish government is to put Flanders on the world map with regards to a number of research domains, this includes reaching critical mass by cooperation, but also market valorization.

  Cleantech installations

typically these include windfarms, biomass installations, Cogen installations, etc.
